Form of... Street Poet!
I can't really say this surprised my eyes because I Foresaw getting left out of the draw the round before. Oh well, at least I had my night in the limelight; Don't mean to trouble you, Tony W, but thanks for getting my name right.
I do however have one last thing to say before fading away Into the digital sirens' sea of unfounded multiplicity. Why the title 'rocker'? A word as meaningful and deep As a swimhouse locker. Eh, that's no shocker,
Saying it's not Scott Ramage. What's that mean, no brain damage? Something to confine to a perfect line or pattern of preference with no deference, Placed on a clean white shelf in a lab under the gable with a label on it?
Sorry, guy. More than meets the eye to I.
Time for curtains, then. Until we meet again. I bid you well. Oh, and Steven L, The red suit was pimp.

Yikes I didn;t think I was THAT bad.... Anyway, I am REALLY glad that you were honest about it, because I guess not many people have been lol I'm gonna keep watching, because the talent it absolutely WONDERFUL this year, and I feel really blessed to have been a part of it, very exciting.... Singing is not an avenue I think I'll pursue, I just liked it for pleasure. Thanks again for this lovely show, and I really appreciate it again! -Jay Michaels

Sorry we're so tough...but we're looking for greatness. But Jay, you have potential. Although that "faking it" comment was too far, you have potential in my opinion. And that's the truth from Day 1 w/ your first audition. I do suggest singing lessons b/c you can be great with more practice. Believe me. B/C my first impression of you was to grow further and may make it into the Final 8. Just take in what advice we gave and try harder!

Molly kicked our asses LOL! Great job on that.
I was trying to pick a more "modern" song because the judges seemed to be hinting that way in their previous comments to me...then they didn't like my song. Oh, well...what can you do... I didn't realize that I should pick a song that has more of what my husband calls "show off" notes. I thought it was my best song in terms of emotions and tune..
Is there any place to read where we can know when the next songs are due (or whether we are in the next round or not), rather than waiting until you email us? Just would like to know because I'm going to be out of town (and partly off the net) July 29th-Aug. 6th. I'd hate to miss a round cause I didn't know...
TONY TONY!!! Can you please pronounce my last name right? It rhymes with "canoe". OOOOOH not OH. luh-NOO.....thanks!
Hope you all are having a good summer!

Thanks Steven That's encouraging I thinkmy song choice may have been a bit over-ambitious to begin with... Maybe I'll give it a shot again next year with more practice...

That's true. "The Prayer" is a difficult song b/c you switch english then italian then english and vice versa. And it's an emotionally strong song. And don't forget it was originally made for a duet...so...yeah an ambitious choice.

I didn't think that faking it comment was rough....I think it may be taken out of context. I've always thought Jay that you had much potential. I've listened to many different version many times and the pronounciation was off just a little in some words. That's why I said...great job at faking Italian....cuz it was close and its hard to sing in a different language....so for that...Jay...I give you props. And Scott, I know you are a great ro...er...artist and you do take risk like Dean said. You are great, I just didn't feel you put your stamp on that song that says "That's Scott Ramage". Phew...there are my elaborations and my comments next rounds , I can make them a bit more clearer. Honesty has help me a lot in these singing competitions, but I think I been a little too honest this round....Simon Cowell is channeling me. Thank God for our production team and the magical art of editing.
You know...I should post my full audio comments on the board sometimes to clear stuff up...LOL. I dunno whether or not Steven gives you our full comments in a seperate e-mail. We judges have to fit critiques in 15 seconds and sometimes I need more to get my point across constructively.....LOL.
*sister walks in the room*
SHUT UP, Charly! Can't get one **** moment without you babbling your ***** out! *****!
*sister leaves the room, slams the door*
See what I am talking about...the art of editing. Great show as always. Everyone did great, no matter what I said. And congrats to Mollie and Jake on making the top 8 and...
*sister cracks open the door*
CHARLY!!!!
Sorry guys...have to shut up now.

Just wanted to pop in and say great job to everyone! No, I haven't fallen off of the face of the earth lol. I have finally settled into my new apartment, and we had an emergency this week, so I've been a bit out of the loop for a while. Hopefully, I'm back now though, and I look forward to the rest of this show.. Steven and the judges, you are doing a great job, as are all of the contestants.. Man.. this competition is ROUGH lol.. There are a bunch of you that I thought for sure belonged in the finals.. you should be proud of what you've done.. so many good singers! I look forward to hearing more from everyone and congratulate those who were lucky enough to be wildcards or move on ♥Elisha

Check your e-mail Elisha To Charly, I feel so stupid. I mis-heard it..."faking Italian" as "faking a talent". Sorry! One of my occasional malfunctions...lol.

I sooooo heard faking Italian! It didn't even dawn on me that you might have heard anything else--and OUCH! That must have hurt--so glad they cleared that up! I love the show this season~judges are HARSH, though! I cringed a couple of times in empathy for the singers! :-) Suzanne, that was the highest "I Feel Pretty" I've ever heard--I guess you really ARE a soprano! :-) I haven't read any judges comments, yet--I've been out of the loop a little--moving and packing--ugh! Just moving around the corner, but it's still Moving with a capital M. I thought "My Perogative" was great, Scott--it was a good vocal for you--and I was happy to hear you doing a different genre. I don't consider you a "rocker", but of all the competitions I've heard you in, I think you're the Alternative King. Oh No!! Another label! Scott, you rock. Molly and Elisha are forces to be reckoned with--you all have your work cut out for you. :-) I wish you all the best and may NO ONE break a leg. That would just be wrong! Peace, Love and Rock & Roll, Jeanie From Season I :-)
